WE ARE ALLOWED TO PIERCE 16 YEARS AND OLDER WITH PHOTO ID.
BODY PIERCING LAWS: THE FACTS 2011

Under the Children and Young persons (Care and Protection) Act
Sect 230A Body piercing of children.

(1) A person 16 years and older IS PERMITTED to get pierced after providing photo identification. (Which includes date of birth)
[EXCLUDING]:GENITAL PIERCING.

(2) A person under 16 years IS PERMITTED to get pierced with consent of a LEGAL GUARDIAN or/ Formal written consent by a legal guardian. The legal guardian must state what piercing is permitted and full guardian contact details must be provided for phone conformation.
[EXCLUDING]: NIPPLE PIERCING AND GENITAL PIERCING.

(3) For 18 years and older, all body piercing is permitted and require photo ID as per protocol.
